SASANOA DOBERMANS
Sasanoa Dobermans is committed to improving the wonderful Doberman breed. Our current resident Dobes are family members first and foremost, and that philosophy is what we are seeking in those who wish to add one of our puppies to their households.
Our dogs are health and temperament tested and have proven themselves, by virtue of their many collective accomplishments, to be versatile, willing partners for whatever we have asked of them. Our Kia and our Dillon were two of only a handful of Dobermans in the country who passed a Herding Instinct Test by successfully herding sheep, which neither had ever seen before.
We expect that those who are selected to receive one of our pups will become part of an extended family for the lives of their Dobes, and perhaps even beyond. We intend to be available with advice, support, encouragement, and applause for each and every puppy that is born here or who has been sired by one of our males. Our guarantee is that we will stand behind the dogs we produce for their lifetimes.
We are members of and support the Code of Ethics of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA), the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada (DPCC). the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), and the United Doberman Club (UDC). We abide by the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC). We regularly support our breed’s research in areas of health.
In addition, we are active in our chapter club, the Pine Tree State Doberman Pinscher Club (which we founded), and we volunteer our time and services to local Doberman rescue agencies.
We believe strongly that Sasanoa Dobermans should always be fine representatives of this proud, noble and highly versatile breed. We breed infrequently (roughly every 18 to 30 months) and usually only when we have a waiting list. We have a fairly rigorous screening procedure which has enabled us to make good friends among the people who have taken home Sasanoa pups. We do not breed nor do we support the breeding of "oversized," "Warlock," or Albino (white) Dobermans. We do not sell littermates to the same home; nor do we place males in homes where males already reside. And since the DPCA standard calls for cropped and docked, we do not sell uncropped or undocked puppies. Sorry.

"KAYLA"
Suffered a fractured skull and neurological damage (blind and paralyzed) at 5 weeks at the paws of an older bitch over a scrap of food. She is 100% 'back" and training for agility competition. She could not undergo surgery when others were cropped, so we have our first natural-eared Dobe. She's very much like her great granddam Kia.
